Large logistics organisation that delivers contract logistics, manufacturing and packaging services to blue chip companies are looking for an exceptional Operations Manager to provide modern leadership that will deliver some of the best performance results in the industry.  You will take operational responsibility for approx 100 employees working on a 24/7 shift pattern in this automated high bay NDC.

You will provide a primary leadership role for the success of the facility.  Your goal is to ensure that all operational & contractual commitments are not only met but regularly exceeded (within budget).

Due to the growing demands of the business this exciting opportunity has arisen.  As a key member of the supply chain team your background will be between 2-5 years and will have ideally been gained in planning or forecasting within a similar blue chip environment.

You will take responsibility for a family of products through the whole of the supply chain, satisfying forecast demand at optimum cost whilst ensuring stock is available for distribution.  Customer Service experience is key as are communication skills as you will be working and developing close relationships with all your contacts along the supply chain.
